Every burger, gluten-free. Yes, every single one.
Sneaky Burger is one of the few spots in the Illawarra where coeliacs and gluten-intolerant eaters can order anything off the menu and have it made GF — including the signatures.
The Sneaky Classic, the Holy Trinity, the Pineapple Express, the Fat Sanchez — all of them can be made on a gluten-free milk bun without sacrificing the wagyu patty, the maple bacon, or the Sneaky sauce.
What’s gluten-free here
- The full burger menu — every burger swaps to a gluten-free milk bun on request
- All our fries and loaded fries — cooked in a dedicated GF-safe fryer
- Halloumi fries — battered with GF crumb
- Cauliflower bites — GF batter
- Buffalo wings — straight wings, no flour
- All sauces — Sneaky sauce, BBQ, chipotle mayo, truffle aioli — all GF
How we keep it safe
We know “GF available” doesn’t mean much if your meal touches a regular bun on the way to the plate. Our kitchen procedures:
- Dedicated GF prep area on the line
- Separate tongs and spatulas, colour-coded
- GF buns stored sealed and away from regular bread
- Staff trained on cross-contamination — every shift
This isn’t a small-print menu disclaimer. It’s how we run service. Plenty of our regulars are coeliac and have been eating with us for years.
What to ask for
When you order, just say “make it GF” — in-store, on Uber Eats, on DoorDash, doesn’t matter. The kitchen ticket prints in red so the chef knows. Your bun comes in a separate paper, prepped on the GF side of the line.
Two stores, same gluten-free promise
- Wollongong — 49 Harbour St, a five-minute walk from the beach
- Albion Park Rail — 83 Princes Hwy
Both stores follow the same GF protocols. Both open seven days, 11am to 9pm.
